• The nozzle on the Head – has standard 3/4″ hose thread molded on the outside and has 3/8″ NPT thread molded into the inside
• Pivot Connector with Two Nuts – Easily adjusted for years without the rusted and stuck set screws concern
• No Exposed Threads – No exposed steel threads to rust
• One Piece Plunger – Uses a double seal design for a shutoff you can depend on
• Self-Lubricating Plunger – Diminishes concern over sticking and bonding creating a longer life

The Merrill M-2000 Yard Hydrant is the only Merrill hydrant with a non-cast iron head. Made of DuPont’s Zytel ST Thermoplastic, the M-2000 offers a more forgiving head solution compared to its cast-iron counterparts. The incorporated drain hole allows water to drain out creating confidence in year-round use in all climates.
